Therapeutic Mentoring at the Daisy Suite in Chippenham.

We offer 1-1 sessions for primary and secondary school young people who are struggling within the education system and would benefit from having Therapeutic Mentoring away from the school site.

As with all our Therapeutic Mentoring we start with an assessment, when necessary, we will consult with The Child Psychologist / Therapist from the Trauma Recovery Centre (there is an additional fee for this part of the service). Acting as an additional layer of support. We have a designated garden and a garden of fascination for those who wish to be within a nature environment. Sessions include regulating activities, opportunities to practice/ strengthen skills by building social confidence. We support our children to practice regulating emotions by creating a personalised ‘toolbox’ to help facilitate calm. We provide opportunities to strengthen a child’s sense of self, offering experiences to rebuild/strengthen relationships through a fun
child-led sensory approach.

Each 1-hour session costs from £60.00

Therapeutic Mentoring as Alternative Provision within the Daisy Suite Chippenham.

As with our other Therapeutic Mentoring services we offer separate primary and secondary small group sessions working with children and young people to support their recovery journey using a specialised Trauma Recovery Focused Model, (when appropriate working in partnership with the Trauma recovery centre, additional fee is applied for this part of the service). This service is for young people who need a different environment for them to grow and heal.

Building trusting relationships with the young person we can understand, promote their uniqueness and become their voice. Understanding the young person is key to our provision, meeting them at their starting point and reducing barriers by understanding everyone holistically. The 3-hour session is £180.00
