Youth Worker

We are looking for passionate and resilient youth workers to join our dynamic youth team! As we are reaching more and more young people we need new people…

The RISE youth team reach up to  269 young people per week across North Wiltshire! This includes 14 youth work sessions, pop ups in 4 secondary schools and mentoring 15 young people at any one time.

We need people for the evenings in:

  • Purton, Thursday: Youth club – 2.5 hours a week.
  • Malmesbury, Tuesday: 2 hours a week- street based.
  • Calne, Tuesdays: 2.5 hours a week.
  • Chippenham, Wednesdays: 6.30-8.30pm

Please note that if you wish to combine evenings this would be welcomed – many of our current staff work across our area on several nights a week.

MENTOR ME VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Our volunteer mentors go into school on a weekly basis to work one-to-one with primary aged children. Mentoring sessions are relaxed and informal and the mentor acts as a listening ear, a sounding board and because of the consistency and continuity they offer, over time, they become a trusted friend and are there to support when worries are shared. We are currently looking for mentors to volunteer in Corsham and Melksham in 2025.
